Joy in Mudville?

Oh, somewhere in this favoured land the sun is shining bright.
The band is playing somewhere and somewhere hearts are light.
And somewhere men are laughing and little children shout.
But there is no joy in Mudville - - great Casey has struck out.

Casey at the Bat-- Ernest Lawrence Thayer

The sun may not have been shining, but the bands still played, and there was plenty of laughing and more than a handful of children shouting at our own Mudville at the 88 Days of Summer. But a little rain, some stormy weather, and a too-close-for-comfort lightening strike Saturday evening couldn't put a damper on our 15th Reunions.

Thanks to everyone who made the trip back and to all of you who helped pull this beast off. It's been an interesting 2+ years and we know it would not have been the same event if it hadn't been for all of the hands pitching in.

There's only a bit of paperwork to complete to finish our 15th up and then I guess we can go ahead and get started planning the 20th. "Singing in the Rain" sounds like a pretty good theme.

It ain't over, til it's over...

...and now it's over

  • Valeska Stupak has finished our online photobook.
  • The final batch of costumes have been ordered.
  • The class photo is done. If you forgot to fill out an order form on campus, you can place your order online.

Must be about time to start working on our 20th.
